I'm a professional cat groomer with over 8 years of hands-on experience working with cats of all coat types, ages, and temperaments. I've spent most of that time learning that every cat is different what works for one may completely stress out another, and that's what makes feline grooming its own speciality, not just a variation of dog grooming. I started writing about cat care because I kept seeing the same questions and misconceptions from cat owners who genuinely wanted to do right by their pets but didn't have reliable, specific information to go on. Most grooming content online is either too generic or written by people who don't actually work with cats. On ClassyPet, I write from what I see and deal with in practice coat health, handling, mat prevention, breed differences, and knowing when a cat needs a professional rather than a home brush-out. I share my home with two cats, and yes, they are both very opinionated about their grooming sessions.
